Sacramental Preparation

Preparation for First Eucharist occurs in the Spring of a child's Second Grade year
(or anytime thereafter). Celebration of the sacrament will take place during the
weekend Masses in May.
As per Diocesan guidelines, a child preparing for First Eucharist must
- Have completed a previous year of faith formation
- Be enrolled and participating in faith formation
- Have celebrated the Sacrament of Reconciliation
- Be enrolled and participating in the preparation process for First Eucharist
The required components of sacramental preparation include:
- Three Parent meetings
- Two parent/child workshops
- Family preparation at home using a Family Workbook (book will be given out
at one of the parent sessions) There is a $30.00 fee for materials.

Sign ups are on a first come-first serve basis
Parent Meetings (Parents must attend all 3 meetings):
Wednesday, January 12 at 6:30 pm
Wednesday, January 19 at 6:30 pm
Wednesday, January 26 at 6:30 pm
Parent/Child Workshop 1 - CHOOSE ONE
Saturday, February 26 from 9:00 - 11:00 am
Sunday, February 27 from 1:30 - 3:30 pm
Parent/Child Workshop 2 - CHOOSE ONE
Saturday, April 30 from 9:00 - 11:00 am
Sunday, May 1 from 1:30 - 3:30 pm
