Welcome to St. Mark Catholic Church Community
Highlands Ranch, Colorado
Established as a parish of the Colorado Springs Diocese on Easter Sunday, April 23, 2000,
we became St. Mark Catholic Church to live out the gospel of Jesus Christ as journeying people.
We will model the gospel of Saint Mark and make sure those considered on the “outside” of
society are truly on the “inside” of the Kingdom of God. "No one will be left in the dust."
Our motto is "We can be kind and we can take care of each other." We would be honored to have
you worship with us.

Faithful Citizenship
Every four years, prior to a general election in the United States, the Bishops of our
country create a document reminding us of our privilege and responsibility to be
informed voters when we approach the polls in November. This years's document,
Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship, once again calls us to political
responsibility and offers guidance and information, including the seven themes of
Catholic Social Teachings, to assist us in our decision making process. As the bishops
themselves say, "We bishops seek to help Catholics form their consciences in accordance
with the truth, so they can make sound moral choices in addressing these challenges. We
do not tell Catholics how to vote. The responsibility to make political choices rest with
each person and his or her properly formed conscience."
