The Gatherers, along with the Newcomers Ministry, provide those new to St Mark with
opportunities to learn about the history, heritage and character of St. Mark as well as
ministries and programs so they can become involved in the life of the parish.
A catered dinner is provided, along with an introduction by Fr. John Auer,
followed by the opportunity to ask questions and meet other new parish members
as well as some of the current parishioners, who help with hosting these suppers.

Dinners are typically held in the lower level of the church on a designated
Saturday evening, after the 4:00 pm Mass. Newcomers will receive an invitation
by mail, with a follow-up call to verify attendance. Dates for the dinners are
also listed in the previous weekend Sunday Bulletin.
